pain and blossoming- the coming of summer

Today I took a walk in the park and saw the flowers about to bloom. Spring is the time of seeding. The time when freshness is being created from what returned to the earth. It is a time of severe digestion. A time of reflection. It is when we see the shadows of the winter come alive and become three dimensional. It is also a time of pain, specifically the grief that comes from loss. When the planets are changing momentum and preparing to mirror the steps of the past, can we truly view with a wide lens the occurrences of the past. It can be devastating to lose our old selves. But this lull holds great potential energy. The new will arrive to those who do or do not welcome it. And thus, this is the time when a being must invoke deep trust for the universe, because growth pains. Only when we cling to her bosom and completely let go of resistance will we be able to ride the waves with joy.

Ouroboros, an archetype representing continuous and endless cycle of processing of the past in order to continue. Originated in ancient Egyptian iconography.

When on a roller coaster, only when you shut your eyes and let your body slack and really let that openness permeate you, does a tremendous thrill zap through your physical being. It is the surpassing of fear by acceptance of pain that leads to a creative energy. Ouroboros is forced to chew and digest his own tail so that he can keep moving forward. There is no choice on whether or not change will occur. Only about your receptivity of it. Time is defined by entropy, about the steady instability of the universe.

Nataraj- A depiction of the Hindu god Shiva as the divine dancer.

Until spring, the being is fed with energy until it is brimming and ready to burst. Shiva meditates on the mountain for eons, not lethargic, but filled with vigour and potential. It is only when he allows himself to hold and be this mass of energy, can he be awakened and inspired by the divine mother goddess. Only then can he become the great Nataraj- a synonym of extraordinary energy.

The universe is change, a very complicated and beautiful sine wave, with infinite more cycles within it that fall and rise, inhale and exhale like its very breath. You are a part of this very breath, you contribute your transformations to it. One is at alignment, and thus at bliss, when they ride the rhythm of the universe. When one dances with the flow and ebb of the wind, when one’s heart beats to the pulse of a song, is when oneness is felt.

Does free will exist or not? Am I condemned to my destiny? Is there some incalculable part of physics which allows us to have the notion of creating our own future, so that we can believe everything wasn’t just predetermined from the big bang, like a game of pool?

I believe symmetry exists. That every action has an mirrored reaction. When you give in to the push and pull of one who is exerting force on you, so that there is no resistance, then you are one and the same. Be aware that our evolutionary survival mechanisms have given us the ability to categorize and distinguish one from another, but no such truth exists beyond our perception. Because when you have risen above your survival needs, when you no longer see in multiples, is when the flow of events in the universe become natural and effortless.

A fractal- a mathematical object that is infinitely self repeating and looks like itself at any scale.

In conclusion, you are the wave. There is no need to assert your individuality by moving at a frequency that creates chaos and is at odds with the universal. Highs and lows are only natural. You are the tides being pulled by the moon, and the seasons. These cycles are reflected within you and you within them. This is why you are affected by the movement of celestial bodies, for how could you be not? Everything in the universe reflects in everything else like the most beautiful fractal.

Do what you truly desire to, and go where your nature takes you. Ride out all experiences with joy, for when you look within yourself, and you will see the universe.

Krishna- a Hindu archetypal figure. His mother opened his mouth, and saw the universe.
